1. Introduction

Congratulations!

With your purchase you have chosen a high-

quality product. Make yourself familiar with the

product before starting to use it. Carefully read the

following instruction manual. Use the product only

as described and only for the speciﬁed areas of

application. Keep this instruction manual for future

reference. When transferring this product to third

parties, also include all documents.

Explanation of symbols

The following symbols and signal words are used

in these operating instructions, on the LED Multi-

function light or on the packaging.

WARNING!

This signal symbol/word indicates a hazard with

a medium level of risk which, if not avoided, may

result in death or serious injury.

CAUTION!

cumstances and the LED Multifunction light may

tions are prohibited for approval reasons (CE).

Check voltages!

- Make sure that the existing mains voltage

corresponds to the speciﬁcation on the rat-

ing plate. Non-compliance may lead to

excessive heat development.

- The LED Multifunction light may not be connect-

ed to a power strip or to a multiple socket.

- The LED Multifunction light may not be covered

during use.

- Never touch the mains plug with wet hands

when it is active.

A defective LED Multifunction light

may not be used! There is a risk of

- Do not use the LED Multifunction light

in the case of malfunctions, damage or defects.

If you ﬁnd a defect in the LED Multifunction light,

have it checked and repaired, if necessary, be-

fore putting it back into operation. Failure to do

so may result in electric shock.

- The LED Multifunction light may not be

used in potentially explosive (Ex) environments.

The LED Multifunction light is not approved for

light.

- Maintenance or cleaning of the LED Multifunc-

tion light may not be performed by children with-

out supervision.

Prevent the LED Multifunction light from

being used by unauthorised individuals

- Keep the LED Multifunction light in a dry, high,

safe place out of the reach of children.

- Observe the applicable national provisions and

regulations for the use and disposal of the LED

Multifunction light.

Pay attention to ambient conditions!

- The LED Multifunction light may not be used in

ambient temperatures of above 40 °C or below

0 °C and/or in environments with ﬂammable

gases, solvents, vapours and dust.

Using the LED Multifunction light/

charging station

- The LED Multifunction light may only be charged

with the provided charging station.

- The charging station may only be used to charge

the LED Multifunction light.

6. Safety information about the

battery

WARNING!

Fire and explosion hazard!

- Keep the product away from heat sources

and direct sunlight: the battery may ex-

plode if overheated. There is a risk of inju-

ry.

-Do not operate the LED Multifunction light

in its packaging! There is a risk of ﬁre!

WARNING!

Risk of injury!

Do not touch leaked batteries with

bare hands! There is a risk of inju-

ry!

- Leaked or damaged batteries may cause acid

burns if they come into contact with skin. Do not

touch leaked batteries with bare hands; there-

fore, ensure that you wear appropriate protec-

tive gloves in such a case!

NOTE!

- This product has a built-in rechargeable battery

that cannot be replaced by the user. In order

to avoid hazards, the battery may only be re-

moved or recharged by the manufacturer or its

service agent or by a similarly qualiﬁed individu-

al.

- When disposing of the product, please note that

this product contains a rechargeable battery.

7. Use

NOTE!

Before start-up

The battery has to be charged for 24 hours before

the initial use.

NOTE!

Charging the battery

Before you start the charging process, switch oﬀ

the LED Multifunction light.

Plug the charging cradle into a suitable power out-

let. Make sure that the charging cradle is properly

aligned (see Figure A). Plug the LED Multi-

function light

into the cradle

. The battery

should now be left to charge for 24 hours.

NOTE!

During further charging, the charging time (max-

imum 24 hours) will be shortened depending on

the remaining battery capacity.

If the charging station

with the inserted LED

Multifunction light

is connected to the power

supply, the battery will be charged automatically

without contact. Overcharging the battery is pre-

vented by the integrated charging control. The

LED Multifunction light

can therefore remain

permanently in the charging station

Operating the sensor functions

Connect the charging station

with the inserted

LED Multifunction light

to the power supply.

If movement is detected by the sensor

in the

dark within the range of 3 meters, the night light

will switch on automatically. After approx. 20

seconds, the night light

switches oﬀ again.

If the LED Multifunction light is in the charging

station, you have the option of switching to

continuous operation of the night light

in Eco

mode by pressing the on/oﬀ switch.

The night light

of the LED Multifunction light

now lights permanently with reduced luminosity

during the dark.

Operating the ﬂashlight function

If you remove the LED Multifunction light

from

the charging station

, the ﬂashlight

automat-

ically switches to eco mode.

If you press the on/oﬀ switch

repeatedly, you

can choose between the individual operating

modes:

- Press once: 100% Flashlight on

- Press twice: 100% Night light on

- Press three times: Flashlight in ﬂashing mode

- Press four times: oﬀ

Operation of the emergency function

Connect the charging station

with the inserted

LED Multifunction light

to the power supply. In

the event of a power failure, the ﬂashlight

auto-

matically illuminates as an orientation light in the

Eco mode. Once the power supply is restored, the

ﬂashlight

automatically switches oﬀ again.

NOTE!

If the power supply is interrupted, the ﬂashlight

remains illuminated until the battery is empty.

8. Cleaning and care instructions

WARNiNG!

Risk of injury!

Prior to cleaning, the LED Multifunc-

tion light and the charging station

have to be disconnected from the

power supply. There is a risk of electric

shock!

- only clean with a dry cloth

- do not use any harsh detergents/chemicals

- do not immerse in water

- store in a cool, dry place, protected from UV

light

9. Conformity declaration

This device complies with the fundamen-

tal requirements and other relevant reg-

ulations of the European Electromagnet-

ic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU, as well

as the Low-Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and

the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU. The complete

original conformity declaration is available from

the importer.

10. Disposal

The packaging and operating instruc-

tions are made of 100 % environmen-

tally friendly materials, which you

may dispose of at local recycling centres.

Disposal of the battery

- Defective or used rechargeable batteries

have to be recycled in accordance with

Directive 2006/66/EC and its amend-

ments.

- Batteries and disposable batteries are not per-

mitted to be disposed of with household waste.

They contain harmful heavy metals. Marking: Pb

(= lead), Hg (= mercury), Cd (= cadmium). You

are legally obligated to return used batteries

and rechargeable batteries. After use, you can

either return batteries to our point of sale or in

the direct vicinity (e.g. with a retailer or in munic-

ipal collection centres) free of charge. Batteries

and rechargeable batteries are marked with a

crossed-out waste bin.

The product may not be disposed of with

normal household waste. Please ﬁnd out

about disposal options for the product from

your local authority or town administration.

11. Warranty

Warranty of the Tradix GmbH & Co. KG.

Dear customer, this device comes with a three-

year warranty, valid from the date of purchase. In

case of defects of this product, you will have legal

rights towards the seller of this product. These le-

gal rights shall not be limited by our warranty as

set out below.

12. Guarantee conditions

The warranty term starts on the date of purchase.

Please keep the original receipt in a safe place.

This document is required as proof of purchase.

If within a period of three years following the

date of purchase, this product displays material

or manufacturing defects, we shall - at our discre-

tion - repair or replace the product free of charge.

This warranty assumes that within a period of

three years the defective device and the proof of

purchase (receipt) are submitted and that a brief

written description of the defect, including when it

occurred, is provided.

If the defect is covered by our warranty, you shall

receive a repaired or a new product. The repair

or exchange of the product does not commence a

new warranty term.
